Renewable natural polymers have been used to evaluate the biodegradability of end-use products based on polyvinyl alcohol. Polyvinyl alcohol materials are widely used in biodegradable synthetic polymers due to their biodegradability under various microbial conditions. Polyvinyl alcohol is used in a variety of industries, including ceramics, textiles, coatings, paper and wood. In addition, products of the same grade can be used in various applications. In recent years, this ability has helped increase the demand for polyvinyl alcohol. Due to its properties, such as ethanol, water solubility, grease, and oil resistance, there are several lesser-known alternatives to choose from. The inherent properties of polyvinyl alcohol make it useful for applications that require only environmentally acceptable materials. As campaigns such as &#8220;green environmental protection&#8221; and &#8220;reuse&#8221; gain attention, this is seen as a major advantage of the product.
