(1) Sammenlignet med cellulose\u00e6ter er guar\u00e6ter mere opl\u00f8selig i vand. Ydeevnen for pH-guar\u00e6ter var stort set up\u00e5virket.
\n(2) Under foruds\u00e6tning af lav viskositet og lav dosering kan guargummi erstatte cellulose\u00e6ter i samme m\u00e6ngde og har lignende vandretention. Konsistensen, modstandsdygtigheden over for fald og thixotropi er dog tydeligvis forbedret.
\n(3) Under forhold med h\u00f8j viskositet og stor dosering kan guargummi ikke erstatte cellulose\u00e6ter, og blandet brug af de to vil give mere fremragende resultater.
\n(4) Anvendelsen af guargummi i gipsbaseret m\u00f8rtel kan reducere vedh\u00e6ftningen betydeligt under konstruktionen og g\u00f8re konstruktionen glattere. Ingen negativ effekt p\u00e5 afbindingstiden og styrken af gipsm\u00f8rtel.
\n(5) N\u00e5r guargummi bruges i cementbaseret murv\u00e6rk og pudsem\u00f8rtel, kan det erstatte cellulose\u00e6ter i samme m\u00e6ngde og give m\u00f8rtlen bedre modstandsdygtighed over for fald, tixotropi og glathed i konstruktionen.
\n(6) Guargummi kan ogs\u00e5 bruges i kl\u00e6bemidler til keramiske fliser, selvnivellerende midler til gulve, vandfast kit, polymerm\u00f8rtel til v\u00e6gisolering og andre produkter.
\n(7) Da prisen p\u00e5 guargummi er betydeligt lavere end prisen p\u00e5 cellulose\u00e6ter, vil brugen af guargummi i m\u00f8rtel reducere omkostningerne ved produktformuleringer betydeligt.<\/p>\n
