En la actualidad, adem\u00e1s de ser la materia prima del vinil\u00f3n, el PVA se utiliza ampliamente en aprestos textiles, revestimientos, adhesivos, emulsionantes, pel\u00edculas y otros campos industriales. Sin embargo, la mol\u00e9cula de PVA contiene un gran n\u00famero de grupos hidroxilo, lo que resulta en una pobre resistencia al agua y estabilidad del PVA, lo que afecta a su aplicaci\u00f3n. En la aplicaci\u00f3n de la industria de las fibras qu\u00edmicas, el PVA presenta desventajas como el despellejamiento, la formaci\u00f3n de espuma y una adhesi\u00f3n insuficiente a las fibras.
