Als de oplossing niet goed is, zullen er micellen of zelfs harde blokken ontstaan, wat direct invloed heeft op de daaropvolgende bewerking en de productkwaliteit. Eerst wordt de polyvinylalcohol gedispergeerd in koud water. Dispergeren betekent dat de deeltjes verspreid in het water zitten en geen grote groep vormen. Bij industri\u00eble productie worden stortgoedkegels vaak bij de toevoerpoort geplaatst en wordt de toevoersnelheid geregeld.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De tweede is om het een tijd lang onder langzaam roeren of statisch te plaatsen, zodat de PVA opzwelt in koud water. De zweltijd wordt bepaald aan de hand van het specifieke type PVA. Daarna wordt het langzaam en gelijkmatig verwarmd tot de gespecificeerde temperatuur terwijl het langzaam wordt geroerd om de PVA op te lossen. De oplostemperatuur varieert van 80 tot 90 graden, afhankelijk van het specifieke model.
