PVA soluble en agua Film for Agricultural Seed Tape

PVA (PVOH) water-soluble seed tape packaging film is widely used in agricultural packaging. Seed tape realizes mechanized and semi-mechanized planting and reduces labor intensity.

Seeds can also be wrapped equidistantly in strips, sheets or matrices with hydrophilic PVA films to transport the seeds into the soil. PVA water-soluble film is used to embed or wrap seeds, increasing seed germination faster than other existing seed delivery systems. PVA seed tap packaging ensures precise sowing with less effort and less seed waste. Normal watering dissolves the water-soluble film, ensuring uniform depth and lines. Seeds grown this way prevent the seeds from being blown away by the wind, eaten by animals, and keep moisture in the soil intact. This method can also be used with commercially available hygroscopic materials to ensure improved seed germination rates on each farm during drought or seasons with less rainfall.

Advantages of Using PVA Film for Seed Tapes

  1. Uniform Distribution: Seed tapes ensure that seeds are spaced evenly, promoting uniform growth and reducing competition among plants for nutrients and water.
  2. Ease of Use: Seed tapes are easy to handle and plant, saving time and labor compared to traditional sowing methods.
  3. Reduced Waste: Precise seed placement reduces the number of seeds needed and minimizes thinning, leading to less waste.
  4. Improved Germination: The controlled environment of the seed tape can improve germination rates by protecting seeds from pests and harsh environmental conditions during the initial stages of growth.
  5. Environmental Safety: The biodegradability of PVA water-soluble film ensures that there are no harmful residues left in the soil
